Connor Bedard's All-Star replacement may shock you
Given how much of a bottom-dwelling team they were last year, the team has had to rethink who will represent them at the All-Star Game.
It seemed all right this year as star rookie Connor Bedard was set to make his first All-Star appearance, until the New Jersey Devils game.
Jason Dickinson will replace Bedard at the All-Star Game, as, based on Daily Faceoff.com's line combinations, he is now the team's 2nd line center in the wake of Bedard's injury.
In 39 games this season, Dickinson has experienced a career revival, much like
Max Domi and
Andreas Athanasiou who have benefited from Luke Richardson's coaching style.
He has scored 13 goals and provided 6 assists in 39 games this season, totaling 19 points.
In 2022-2023 Dickinson posted his first 30-point season with the team and seems determined to be as successful if not more this year, as he gets to experience his first All-Star game nod.
