Chicago Blackhawks star player reveals his future with the team
Nick Foligno shared why he chose to stay with the Chicago Blackhawks.
He wants to make the team respected and embody the essence of Chicago Blackhawk hockey. Foligno highlighted the chance to set down roots, dig in, and invest in shaping the team's identity.
"to turn this into a team that's respected and understands what it means to play Chicago Blackhawk hockey. Now I really get to put some roots down and dig in here and put that investment into it."
His commitment reflects his dedication to fostering a culture of respect and a true understanding of the Blackhawks' style of play, now will be don the 'C' on his chest? It sure seems like it...
"I don't get too caught up in that. It's a tremendous honor. The captain before me, in Jonathan Toews, wore it better than anyone. It's a storied franchise, and any guy would be honored to wear it. But that's not why you're coming here. You're coming here to make a difference."
