One year ago marks history for Bedsy
Connor Bedard is a young hockey player who has quickly made a name for himself. During his first season with the Chicago Blackhawks, he was named an NHL All-Star.
In his 39 games with the Blackhawks, he has scored 15 goals and had 18 assists, for a total of 33 points. Unfortunately, he is currently out with an injury and is recovering from surgery on his fractured jaw.
Bedard had an exceptional 2022-2023 season last year while playing with the Regina Pats in the WHL.
He played 57 games and scored 71 goals, with 72 assists for 143 points.
Bedard scored 71 goals for the Regina Pats, ranking sixth all-time for a single season. However, he fell short of Doug Wickenheiser's record of 89 goals in the 1979-1980 season.
One of his best games was against the Medicine Hat Tigers, where he scored his 40th goal of the season, which happened a year ago today.
Although he is injured, Bedard is expected to continue growing as a player and become a superstar.
He is hoping to be cleared to return to NHL ice in February.
