Blackhawks KHL Prospect Ilya Safonov is shaping his way into being an NHL star

Ilya Safonov has proven to be a cheat code for his KHL team, Ak Bars Kazan and we hope he can replicate it when he arrives in Chicago.
Today, the Blackhawks prospect showed up to shoot-down the TorpedoTorpedo Nizhny Novgorod. Safonov delivered the killing blow.
He won the game for Ak Bars Kazan, with two shoot-out goals, one being the game-winning goal for the team.
Safonov was obviously trying to make up for his scoreless start to the season, as he gave his team a jolt in the standings and a victory as well.
In 67 games with Ak Bars Kazan during the 2023-2024 season, he scored 20 points( 13 G, 7 A) in that time frame.
He looks to be an up-and-coming forward in the 2nd best league in the hockey world.
