Blackhawks Name Former Player to a Prominent Front Office Position

#Blackhawks announce Meghan Hunter has been promoted to Assistant GM. Karilyn Pilch has been promoted to Director of Player Personnel.

NHL Insider Frank Seravalli just broke some news on changes to Kyle Davidson's supporting cast in the Blackhawks front office. One name surely stuck out to fans as former Blackhawk and Stanley Cup Champion Brain Campbell was just named as an Advisor to the Hockey Operations team! This should not come as a huge surprise to fans who have closely followed what Campbell has done in his post retirement career. Starting as a member of the pre and post game panel Soupy moved on to working in the Business Operations department of the Blackhawks in 2017, while also has been involved in player development in recent years most notably with former Blackhawk Adam Boqvist. Since Kyle Davidson took over as GM though Campbell was spotted along side Davidson many times throughout the season and many fans wondered if Soupy would be named to a more prominent position in the front office.

And at 3:46 PM CT today Campbell's new title was announced!
