Anaheim Ducks forward Trevor Zegras traded to the Philadelphia Flyers and there's a clear winner

The Anaheim Ducks have been fleeced by the Philadelphia Flyers, and Trevor Zegras is reuniting with Jamie Drysdale in Philly.
As the Ducks gear up for a fresh clean slated 2025-26 season with newly announced bench boss Joel Quenneville, it appears that it won't be without their most promising peace of their future, forward Trevor Zegras.
Many rumors have surfaced in the hockey world last summer involving former ninth overall pick Trevor Zegras and a potential trade, but many doubted that the Ducks would part ways with their largest asset.
General manager Pat Verbeek stated he will be very aggressive this summer to turn the Ducks into a playoff contending team, but it appears that he's setback those plans with this trade announced.

Flyers clear winner in Ducks Zegras trade
Ryan Poehling, acquired by Anaheim for Zegras, is a former 25th overall pick in the 2017 NHL draft.
Originally drafted by the Montreal Canadiens, his potential failed to show, which led to his career being sent down to the AHL.
He's since bounced around from the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Philadelphia Flyers, and only played his first full season in the NHL in the 2023-24 season.
Poehling found himself a healthy scratch with the Flyers on several occasions last year, and played on the fourth line when inserted.
