Terrible news has struck NHL after sudden passing of assistant coach
News surfaced yesterday that Ottawa Senators assistant coach Bob Jones has passed away from ALS at the age of 54.
Jones had worked extensively in the Ontario Hockey League with several organizations including the Soo Greyhounds, Sudbury wolves, Windsor Spitfires and the Brampton battalion to name a few. He has been the assistant coach of the Ottawa Senators since 2019.
Jones playing career spanned 10 years from 1985 through 1995 had played for the greyhounds along with several AHL franchises.
