Toronto Maple Leafs goaltender Anthony Stolarz left Game 1 of the series against the Florida Panthers on Monday night in an ambulance, suffering a reported concussion that caused him to throw up on the bench.

The Toronto Maple Leafs may have taken a win in Game 1 over the Panthers, but they ultimately took the loss in Anthony Stolarz's injury.
Joseph Woll was forced to take the reins in goal and third-stringer Dennis Hildeby had to serve as a backup on the bench after two paramedics stretchered out Stolarz.
He was then transported to the hospital by ambulance for evaluation, but there has since been no update on his condition.
Stolarz has been the Leafs' backstop with 12 wins in his last 14 games started in goal, but was a victim of a 80-mile wrist shot by his former teammate Sam Reinhart in the first period play, which struck his head.
Later on he was elbowed by Sam Bennett, in what Sportsnet's calling a 'sneaky fly by' blow to the head.
Stolarz would then head over to the bench during a stoppage to lean over and vomit in a bucket. Wiping his mouth from the puke, he then spoke to trainer Paul Ayotte and then Woll before leaving the game for good.
«I don't like that, of course. When you see your teammate go down like that it, it's not good,» said Woll, who saved 17 of the 20 shots he faced in his first work in 18 days. «You go from kinda chillin' to the front line of action.»

Leafs head coach Craig Berube surely didn't mince his words about this interaction between Bennett and Stolarz, have a look:
«Elbow to the head. Clear as day,» Leafs coach Berube said postgame. «I'm not sure why there's not a call on it. But, you know, I get it. They miss calls. It's clearly a penalty.»
The play in question could lead to a suspension, especially due to the callout by other Maple Leafs, including Berube and Matthew Knies.
