One More Milestone for Patrick Kane

Just because the Hawks are losing, doesn't mean Patrick Kane has to stop building up Milestone Moments. Back in March, we celebrated his 1000th game, albeit with a 6-1 loss to Dallas, but still. One thousand games is a big deal. As is 1100, which is the next mark he's set to hit in 3 games time.
The Blackhawks will be on the road, in Nashville for that particular milestone. Out of the 4 games scheduled, the Predators lead the series 2-1. The Blackhawks won their first match-up in November, 2-1 in OT. Their second game was also decided in OT, with the Preds coming out on top, 3-2. Their most recent meeting was less evenly matched, as Nashville commanded the win, 6-1 on New Year's Day.
Kane has hit many milestones in his illustrious career with the Blackhawks, a lot of them «firsts». His OT goal in the 2010 Stanley Cup Final gave the team their first Cup in 49 years. In the 2015-16 season, he became the first U.S.-born player to win the Hart Trophy. And when he reached 1000 points, in January of 2020, he became the youngest American to do so.
Of his 1,197 games to date, he has scored 426 goals, 744 assists, and has accumulated 1170 points. His stats speak for themselves on why he was the first pick overall in the 2007 Draft. Chicago picked him, then, and they've been picking him every year, every day, since. He's played his entire career of 15 years for this team, and while this year has probably been arguably the worst he's experienced in the organization - on and off the ice - no one is entirely sure what the future holds for Chicago's super star. All we know is that even if he does leave, it won't be without making and/or breaking a few more records as a Blackhawk.
