Kings versus King: Game Day Preview

There were quite a lot of comments regarding Derek King's line shake ups for the last game. Honestly, they kind of worked. But the Hawks can never seem to get their skaters and their goalie to match-up on game day. When the goalie is good, the team in front is bad, and we lose. When there's defense, and good offense, and scoringthe goalies lets a few in that maybe he shouldn't have, and we lose. Here's hoping with Delia in net, and this starting line-up, we'll finally be on the same page.

As of now, the Kings are in a precarious 3rd spot in the Pacific Division. They are 2 games ahead of Nashville and Dallas, but one point behind Nashville, and tied with Dallas for 86 points. Vegas has a game in hand, and is only 2 points behind. A win for them, and a loss for the Kings would put Vegas back into contention, and knock L.A. right out. So, to say this is a must-win for the California team would be a massive understatement. They will, however, have to win it without Drew Doughty, who just underwent successful wrist surgery, and will be out for the remainder of the season.
The Hawks and Kings have only met once before, this year, and Chicago came away with a 4-3 S/O win. Colin Delia was in net for that game, too.
