The Blackhawks unfortunately extended their losing streak yesterday against the Dallas Stars. Although they played better than some of their other recent games, the still came up short by a final score of 6-4. However, even with the loss, one Blackhawk hit a pretty impressive milestone.
This is the third time that Patrick Kane has reached this milestone in his career. He first did it in the 2015-2016 season with 60 total assists (also the year he won the Hart Memorial Trophy). Then again in 2018-2019 with 66 assists on the year.
Denis Savard is now the only Blackhawk with more 60 assist seasons with 5. Wouldn't come as a surprise to see Kane at least match that feat by the time his career is over. And with 10 games left on the season, good chance that he surpasses his career high that he set in 2018-2019. 6 more will tie, 7 more will break it.
