Chicago Blackhawks winger Alex DeBrincat reached a pretty impressive milestone in the Blackhawks most recent game. He scored his 40th goal of the season in overtime to win the game for the Blackhawks on the road against the Arizona Coyotes. Just seemed like he was going to put it in the back of the net sooner or later during this game. He had two or three glorious opportunities with a lot of open net. Vejmelka was just able to get to a lot of them and deny DeBrincat from getting in the back of the net. Ultimately though, DeBrincat would get the last laugh giving the Blackhawks a 4-3 win in overtime.

With this goal, Alex DeBrincat is now just one goal away from tying his career season high of 41 goals. He did that his sophomore season in the NHL, which was 2018-2019. With 5 games still remaining on the schedule, DeBrincat has a very good shot at not only tying his career best, but setting a new one.
