Chaos strikes the Toronto Maple Leafs' lineup heading into playoffs

The Toronto Maple Leafs will be missing a major piece in the lineup as a result of injury.

Former Chicago Blackhawk, now Maple Leaf Max Domi was absent from practice today.

As a result, Head Coach Sheldon Keefe had to shift lines in order to fill spots left by both Max Domi and Bobby McMann, who didn't practice today.

«He's been dealing with something and he felt it was not going to affect him to play and I don't think that was necessarily the case,» the coach said after the practice of Domi, who was hurt in Thursday's loss to New Jersey.

Keefe had confirmed that Domi will be absent for the next two games, meaning he won't play the rest of the regular season.

According to Keefe, Domi during play against the New Jersey Devil on Thursday, as the Leafs lost to the not-so-fiery, Devils.


With that news, Keefe had to bust out the line blender, and he has reunited Auston Matthews with Mitch Marner and Tyler Bertuzzi.

Max Domi has played 80 games for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season, posting 47 points( 9 G, 38 A), and will miss Domi in the lineup.
