The fate of a Chicago Blackhawks broadcaster has been decided
The Chicago Blackhawks are gearing up for a big shift in 2024 as their current broadcasting rights come to an end.
Starting in 2025, Blackhawks games will be aired on the newly formed Chicago Sports Network (CSHN), shared with the Chicago Bulls and White Sox.
Fans will be pleased to hear that Pat Boyle, a beloved analyst, will continue to bring his insights to Blackhawks' broadcasts on CSHN.
Boyle, who has been covering Blackhawks games for 20 years on Comcast Sportsnet and NBC Sports Chicago, confirmed his role in the new network on Twitter.
As the transition to CSHN unfolds, more announcements are expected regarding additional hires, including potentially Caley Chelios and Chris Chelios.
Rick Ball is set to take over play-by-play duties from Chris Vosters. While further changes to the broadcast team might occur, nothing is set in stone yet.
