Nick Foligno is currently one of the leaders of the Chicago Blackhawks, having held a similar role with the Columbus Blue Jackets, he seems to take to it pretty well here.

In doing so, he has accepted the fact he is responsible for teaching younger players the game, leaving it all out on the ice as an example for the rookies and to be a foundation for them as well.

Here you can see, that Foligno has taken to the role well, as post-game he is seen giving out some "atta-boys" with his various sons on the Blackhawks.

Hugging, and patting on the head are all signs of endearment for players like Connor Bedard, Lukas Reichel, Kevin Korchinski, and Taylor Raddysh.

Foligno has been a stabilizing force on the young team and has fit into many roles including the power-play and penalty kill.

He is a verifiable swiss-knife for the Blackhawks to use in all situations, and we're sure Bedard can attest to a nice home-cooked meal courtesy of the Folignos.
