The Chicago Blackhawks won the game against the Calgary Flames 4-0, but lost a major piece in the lineup, Frank Nazar.

The team shut out the Flames 4-0 on home ice in the Saddledome in Calgary.
However, the Flames wouldn't let the Blackhawks go unscathed, as forward Joel Farabee would collide with Frank Nazar on a brutal hit, which would take him out of the lineup for the night.
Soon afterwards, power-forward Colton Dach would make Farabee answer the bell for his transgressions against the Blackhawks.
While Jeff Blashill didn't rule out Frank Nazar for Sunday's game against the Detroit Red Wings on Sunday, Nazar is "day-to-day".
«As of right now, it's day to day,» Blashill said. «But we'll know more tomorrow.»

We're fortunate it's not longer after Farabee's careless, cross-check on the former 1st-round pick.

The Chicago Blackhawks Frank Nazar Has Been A Revelation for the team

Nazar has played 15 games for the Blackhawks this season, but has scored a total of 11 points (5-6) for the team.
This season has been a successful start for the Blackhawks under new coach Jeff Blashill, with a record of 7-5-3, and 4th in the Central Division.
This has been a great start for a team that is celebrating its 100th season, including the debut of new jerseys and starting goalie Spencer Knight.
Nazar's been a key piece in this success, and now they could be without him for a game or more. The injury update the Blackhawks provided is hopeful, but not certain by any means.
