Patrick Kane suggests move to wing for Connor Bedard

Because of this move it moved the Blackhawks forward in terms of winning the Draft Lottery and having the privilege to select Connor Bedard first overall, which they did, and now he's the cornerstone of the franchise.

Well, in an interview with Barstool Chief and the ESPN Chicago radio, Kane was asked about Bedard, and what he thinks about him and his current development.

Kane had nothing but good things to say about Bedard. He said that Connor's only 19 and is already playing at a high level and continues to want to be a better player, and that Chicago fans should have no worries whatsoever because he has a great career ahead. That's great to hear, one former face of the franchise to a future face of the franchise.

However, one thing that Patrick did mention is that a move to the wing may benefit him. Kane said that he himself was a smaller player, and obviously he excelled on the wing- the lighter demand because of Bedard's size may help him.

Blackhawks fans have been screaming that from the rooftops for a while now, just for them to try it- have Nazar at center and Bedard at wing and see how it goes. If it doesn't work, move things around.

The team is going to be led by kids this upcoming season. This whole season should be trial and error; experiments should take place. When this team starts competing, lines, strategies, and so forth should already be figured out and ready to go, and this is the season to do that.

Hopefully, we see Kane in Chicago again for a jersey retirement.
