Joel Quenneville publicly opens up about NHL comeback

Following the revelation of the Kyle Beach scandal, Joel Quenneville was relieved of his duties and has now spoken about the chance of rejoining the NHL.

During his guest appearance on the Cam and Strick Podcast, Joel Quenneville, alongside hosts Andy Strickland and Cam Janssen, delved into the topic of a potential return to the NHL and also addressed the Kyle Beach scandal.

Puckreportnhl recently made a post on instagram on Joel Quenneville, and here's what he had to say:




"I definitely didn't handle it properly. I definitely should've handled it differently. I should've went to confront Brad from what I heard, or follow up and ask more questions to get to the seriousness of it, and then report it correctly and make sure there's follow-up off of that, whether it was the head of HR or top management, making sure they follow through on the whole process." - Joel Quenneville.

Quenneville denied having comprehensive knowledge of the situation when it took place, and here's what he had to say about it:

"They told me that he was hanging around the Rockford players, he was socializing, they were going out to bars, and he might've sent an inappropriate text or two and that he was bugging them. That's all I knew."

Having been away from the NHL for a number of years, Quenneville feels prepared to make a return. The final decision on Quenneville's comeback now lies with Gary Bettman.
