Hockey community mourns tragic passing of a four-time cup champion legend at age 93

The hockey community is heartbroken to learn the passing of a longtime Hall of Fame forward and a four-time Cup Champion at the age of 93.
Saddened news struck the hockey community this past week in the passing of a longtime member who's paved his name in the history books with his impressive career resume.
Bruce Cline, a legend and a member of the AHL Hall of Fame and a four-time Cup Champion, has sadly passed away at the age of 93 in Quebec.
The right-winger's long-lasting career spanned over seventeen seasons in the QPJHL, QHL, AHL, and NHL with the New York Rangers.
He most notably won three-straight Calder Cup Championships in consecutive years with the Springfield Indians of the AHL from 1959-1962, his other championship came with the Providence Reds in the 1955-56 season.
The Springfield Hockey Heritage Society shared the following statement after receiving a heartbreaking phone call on Friday:
Very sad news came our way Friday, as we received one of those phone calls you wish would never come.
Bruce Cline, a member of the AHL Hall of Fame, Springfield Hockey Hall of Fame, Hershey Bears Hall of Fame, a four time Calder Cup Champion, a SHHS member since our inception, a Hockeyday regular since 2013, and a genuine, humble, amazing person, passed away in Quebec, at the age of 93. You will never be forgotten number nine.
