Connor Bedard gets desperate to make Team Canada's Olympic roster: "I'd do anything to make it"

After being snubbed by Canada during the 4 Nations Faceoff, Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard would love nothing more than to play for them in the Olympics, which are held this February in Milan, Italy.
Chicago Blackhawks forward Connor Bedard clearly did not like being snubbed from Canada during the 4 Nations Faceoff in February, even though he would attribute the snub to his own slow start to the year.
But he'll have another chance to represent his country in this upcoming February when NHL players return to the Olympics for the 1st time in over a decade.
There's nothing Bedard would love more than to be able to represent Canada this time around and he hopes that dream can become a reality.
Of course, if that's something that I get to do, that would be unbelievable, and I would do anything to be on that team. But I'm trying to take things day by day and have fun playing in the NHL and trying to grow as a team and win hockey games and do everything I can to play my best hockey. In the end, that'll be what puts me in a spot to make it.
The NHL Olympic break is scheduled for February 6 through February 25.
Connor Bedard Keeps A Positive Attitude Despite The Disappointing Snub From Canada In The 4 Nations Faceoff
Even though it was a disappointing snub, Bedard kept a positive attitude of not being included in the Canadian roster for the 4 Nations Faceoff.
I mean, I kind of knew. I had a slow start last year. There are so many great players in Canada. Even if I went out and played great and didn't make the team, it's not like I was going to be butt-hurt.
So far this year, Bedard is making a strong case to be included on the Canada roster with 12 points already (6G, 6A) in 10 games and having helped the Blackhawks off to a positive 5-3-2 start.
