Blackhawks head coach Luke Richardson sends warning directed at Connor Bedard
Blackhawks Head Coach Luke Richardson has been offering some sage advice to forward Bedard recently.
After Bedard's frustration boiled over and he punched the boards hard, Richardson emphasized the importance of controlling emotions on the ice, in a warning as if Bedard continues these actions it may lead to an injury.
"It's great to have emotion and use that as motivation," Richardson advised, "but it's crucial not to let the other team see they're getting under your skin. Show no emotion, and let them be frustrated that they can't get to you."
However, it appears Bedard may not be heeding Richardson last night. Following a tense moment, Bedard reacted by slamming his stick against the boards and then forcefully closing the bench door.
