General Manager Kyle Davidson is on the hunt for the right players to bolster the Blackhawks' lineup this offseason. Among the options under consideration are former Blackhawks superstar Patrick Kane, who was traded away in 2023 once the team kickstarted their rebuild.

Hockey Hall of Famer Chris Chelios, now Blackhawks employee, shared his thoughts on the Mully & Haugh Show about who he hopes the Blackhawks pursue this offseason.

"Kaner. Absolutely Kaner," Chelios stated. "As a fan, I want him back. I'm not supposed to say anything as a Hawks employee, but it just feels right after his first game back, the ovation, what Kaner meant to these fans, and what he's accomplished. Stamkos would be a great addition too, but I think Kaner still has plenty to offer."

"Kyle Davidson mentioned speeding up the rebuild process around Bedard," Chelios continued. "Let's see what happens. I hope it happens. There's plenty of money to spend."

Kane spent the first 16 years of his career with the Blackhawks, securing three Stanley Cup victories during his time in Chicago. With an employee of the Blackhawks stating such a statement, it sure seemly like it's going to happen..
