After last night's tough loss, veteran Nick Foligno from the Chicago Blackhawks had some surprising words.

He's worried that the team, especially the younger players, is kinda caught between not being ready and not knowing what to do on the ice. Blackhawks reporter Mark Lazarus shared Foligno's direct comments about it, stating;

Nick Foligno had a *lot* to say after that one. Said the Blackhawks are teetering on the line between "immaturity and ignorance" when it comes to their readiness to play.

Foligno's words are raising eyebrows, especially with how younger players like Connor Bedard performed. In the recent 8-1 loss to the Dallas Stars on New Year's Eve, Bedard ended up with the second-worst plus-minus rating.

Foligno seems to be talking directly to the younger guys, Bedard included, saying they need to be more grown-up and focused during the games.

Foligno wasn't the only one calling out Bedard's mistakes, Luke Richardson addressed it to the media as well:

As the Blackhawks deal with challenges, Foligno's straight talk adds an interesting twist to the team vibe. It'll be interesting to see how the players take these words and if things change within the team.
