Despite being 6-2 winners over Sweden, some considered the way Team USA acted afterward lacked class.
Following a goal, a player went overboard in celly, according to some by blowing kisses at the Swedish crowd.
Following the silly celly, Team USA Captain
Rutger McGroarty made light of the situation in front of a disheartened Swedish team and crowd.
When Rutger accepted the Gold Medal, he danced slowly, creating the impression that he was making light of the situation.
An unusual way to accept the gold nevertheless.
According to some hockey traditionalists, the way Team USA celebrated, could be considered a lack of respect to the Swedish crowd.
