Rockford Ice Hogs land major asset for AHL Calder Cup Playoffs
The Chicago Blackhawks made a significant move for their AHL affiliate on Monday, by assigning defenseman Wyatt Kaiser to the team.
Kaiser, 21, brings valuable experience to the IceHogs, having tallied 15 points in 31 games this season. He has also showcased his skills with seven assists in 32 NHL games with the Blackhawks during the 2023-24 season.
Additionally, the IceHogs have released forward Jiri Felcman from his Amateur Tryout (ATO) contract.
Blackhawks Assign Kaiser To Rockford
With these roster adjustments, the IceHogs are gearing up for their upcoming game against the Iowa Wild on Tuesday, Apr. 9 at Wells Fargo Arena, with puck drop scheduled for 7 p.m as they look to bolster their lineup before the Calder Cup playoffs begin!
