The Real Reason Why Bettman Loves The Coyotes Gets Exposed by NHL Insider

Gary Bettman attended the Arizona Coyotes Tempe City Council meeting on Tuesday, November 30th. The meeting was arguably the last bit of hope before the Coyotes would be forced to relocate to a different city, but of course, NHL commissioner Gary Bettman came to the rescue.

The NHL, under Gary Bettman, made their own pitch to save the Coyotes, and Bettman promised A LOT.

''At the Tempe City Council meeting where a vote is expected on the Arizona Coyotes new arena/entertainment district tonight, Gary Bettman says the team is willing to sign a 30-year non-relocation agreement.''

Bettman promises the NHL will host an all-star game or a NHL draft to Tempe...



Why the heck does Bettman adore the Coyotes so much? They have won zero cups in their twenty-six year existence throughout the National Hockey League and has not had any success for years.

Well NHL insider Elliote Friedman has revealed why he thinks Bettman adores the Coyotes so much and it makes sense.

Friedman stated the following:

''I will tell you why he is fighting to keep them around, two of the highest revenue teams in the league now are Vegas & Seattle and I think he sits there and says, if we could ever get this sorted out, why can't Arizona be the same way?'' Said Friedman.

Out of the other 30 NHL franchises who thought Vegas and Seattle would be the highest? That is pretty insane.

This is a $2.1 billion dollar project Bettman is helping/pushing, Coyotes CEO Xavier A. Gutierrez stated the following:

''The Tempe Entertainment District will be a huge win for this community, and we have no doubt that Tempe voters will agree.''

''Our project not only provides a wonderful home for the Coyotes but also serves as a vibrant town square for Tempe, generating thousands of sustainable jobs and millions of dollars in tax revenue for the city. We are grateful and excited.''
