Former Blackhawks Goaltender Gets His Revenge on Kyle Davidson For Letting Him Walk

On Tuesday night the Blackhawks traveled to Vancouver to take on the Canucks. The Blackhawks lost to the Canucks with a final score of 2-5. The two Blackhawks goals came from Patrick Kane and Sam Lafferty - two players who could be traded in the coming weeks. The winning goaltender? Colin Delia - former Blackhawk.

Colin Delia did not get much playing time in the NHL during his time with the Blackhawks. Delia spent most of his career in the AHL goaltending for the Rockford Icehogs. However, on Tuesday night, the Canucks gave Delia his chance for revenge on the Blackhawks who let him hit the free agent market following the 2021-22 season. Delia faced a poor Blackhawks offense and was only challenged by 14 shots. Only two found the back of the net. Despite the win, Delia only came away with a .857 SV%.

Delia has not seen much NHL time this season, even in Vancouver. Delia has only played 10 games this season and has won only five of them. Delia currently has a 3.04 GAA and .895 SV%. It's safe to say that even in Vancouver, Colin Delia still has his struggles.
