Utah signs goalie Jaxson Stauber. With Arvid Söderblom heading back to Rockford after the Laurent Broissoit signing, Stauber was the odd man out.

Stauber, who was likely pushed out of Rockford due to Arvid Soderblom being sent back down to the AHL, along with Drew Commesso establishing himself in Rockford meant, Stauber had to find work elsewhere.

Stauber signed a one-year deal in Utah, as details of the money involved were not disclosed by the club.

Stauber, played six games with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2023-2024 posting a 5-1-0 record, 2.81 GAA, and a .911 save percentage.

In the AHL, Stauber would post an 18-8-3 record, 2.85 GAA, and a .902 save percentage. He started 31 games in Rockford and posted 5 points(1 G, 4 A) leading all AHL goalies in scoring.
