The hockey community is mourning the loss of a former forward at the age of 32, following a tragic turn of events in Wisconsin.
32-year-old Mike Robinson was on a 'boys trip' in Wisconsin just one week before his sisters wedding, and one month after the birth of his baby girl, when a drive by took place, leaving the young former hockey player deceased.

The Niagara IceDogs and greater hockey community are mourning the tragic loss of IceDogs Alumnus, Mike Robinson.
In a statement, Owner Darren DeDobbelaer expressed his condolences, saying, "We are heartbroken for Mike and his family. This is a senseless act of violence that none of us will ever understand. From Michele, me, and the Niagara IceDogs family, our hearts go out to the friends and family of Mike. Once an IceDog, always an IceDog."
