The Notre Dame Fighting Irish were eliminated from the NCAA Big Ten Tournament last night.
The team was defeated 4-3 by the always deadly Michigan Wolverines, as the Wolverines advanced in the Big Ten Tournament.
Slaggert ended his NCAA career with a 2-point night, with a goal and an assist, without a doubt a bittersweet ending.

However, this is great news for Kyle Davidson and the Blackhawks as that means the team could bring Slaggert into the fold, and they sure did today.
Slaggert has been working with the Blackhawks cooperatively, as they supported his decision to return to the Notre Dame Fighting Irish for his senior year.
