Would Alex Vlasic Develop Better In Rockford?

Alex Vlasic is an interesting case. Big body defensemen with wheels are few and far between on the Chicago roster today. However, Derek King seems unwilling to play him in a top 4 role. His time on ice reads 7:00 against Tampa, 7:54 against Winnipeg, and 6:10 in a tilt with Minnesota. Otherwise he's been a healthy scratch.
His introduction to pro level hockey may be better off in Rockford, where he can play closer to 14-17 minutes a night and adjust to the new speed away from Hockey East.
Before long, I do believe Vlasic will be placed down to develop, and have a case to make the new look team next season.
