The Minnesota Wild have secured goaltender Filip Gustavsson with a lucrative three-year contract worth $3.75 million per season. Announced last month.
The signing of Gustavsson to the team has sparked speculation about Marc-Andre Fleury's role for the upcoming season.
As a veteran goaltender, it seems unlikely that Fleury would be content with a backup position, especially considering it could be his final year in the NHL (as he has hinted at himself).
