How Connor Bedard developed his killer shot
Connor Bedard has made a name for himself with his remarkable performance in the World Juniors, as well as his impressive season in the WHL, which garnered attention from scouts.
Growing up in Vancouver, Bedard faced the challenge of not having a rink in his backyard due to the city's densely populated housing.

However, he did not let this obstacle deter him from practicing. In fact, Bedard's parents allowed him to practice in unconventional locations, such as his own house, where he would practice stick handling and shooting, much to the dismay of his mother, Melanie.
But Bedard's dedication to the sport was unwavering, as evidenced by his daily practice routine and his commitment to bringing his gear with him on a trip to Hawai'i to continue developing his skills. T
his dedication also helped him overcome an injury in 2017, which forced him to practice with his left hand and ultimately improved his shot.
As a result of his hard work, Bedard was selected as the 1st overall pick in the draft.
