For two days in a row, Taylor Hall missed two days with his future linemates, so his timeframe wasn't certain.

Luke Richardson was unaware of Hall's timeline, but yesterday there was footage of his return.

"I'm not going to really get into it. Just some precautionary stuff," Hall said of his injury. "I think I was ready to skate but ultimately, we just decided it was best for me to stay out for a day or two, and with us not playing an exhibition game until Thursday (against the St. Louis Blues), there was not a huge rush. So, like I said, it was great to be out, I felt great, and I think we're good to go now."

With Connor Bedard and Ryan Donato, he appeared to be practicing with what could be Chicago's next top line.

No official reason was given for Hall's absence, but he explained it was primarily precautionary.

In light of Thursday's pre-season game against the St. Louis Blues, Hall and the team agreed to let him sit two days.

In June, Hall and Foligno were acquired due to the cap crunch faced by the Bruins, allowing the Blackhawks to bolster their bottom and top six.

In 61 games, the Winger had 16 goals and 20 assists for 36 points, and in the playoffs, he had 5 goals and 3 assists for 8 points.
