Blackhawks Announce Another Roster Move Due to Sickness

Early this morning, the Blackhawks recalled goaltender Jaxson Stauber from the Rockford IceHogs. The Blackhawks also assigned forward Brett Seney to Rockford. Two things can be assumed based on these changes; Alex Stalock is still out sick, and MacKenzie Entwistle might be close to returning.

Stauber has a .896 save percentage and a 6-4-0 record in 12 games played for the IceHogs; he has yet to make his NHL debut. Seney played in two games for the Blackhawks this season alongside Lukas Reichel, but didn't earn any points. He has 38 points (14G, 24A) in 32 games played with Rockford this season.

Stauber will likely serve as the backup goalie for Petr Mrázek against the Colorado Avalanche tomorrow night. It's unclear when Stalock will return to action.
