Connor Bedard has been on fire ever since he joined the NHL. He's handled the pressure tremendously and has just scored his fifth goal in ten games tonight.
Bedard picked up the loose puck around the center ice line. He then walked up and sniped a 86.5 MPH shot into the back of the net. It might've nicked some post, too, as you heard a little ring through the United Center.
He also happened to make Blackhawk history with that shot. He became the fifth player in 80 years to have a three-game goal streak throughout his first ten games.
Bedard is on pace to have a 41 goal season.
