Luke Richardson Offers An Update on Colin Blackwell
Head Coach Luke Richard has updated the media regarding this injured Chicago Blackhawks player.
Colin Blackwell has been out for 3 games now with an upper-body injury status as he has skated recently.
Blackwell, who has been enjoying consistent play with linemates
Jason Dickinson and
Joey Anderson, was seen at practice in a non-contact sweater today.
He hasn't been cleared to return to contact just yet and will again miss the game tonight against the Calgary Flames.
Blackwell had his first career hat trick this year, with the Blackhawks and has been a great depth option for the team.
He has had 12 points(8 G, 4 A) in 39 games with the Blackhawks this season.
He only had recently returned from the complications regarding a sports hernia surgery.
We hope he can find consistency in play next year if the team decides to bring him back for another year of turning the Blackhawks into contenders.
