Florida Panthers superstar Matthew Tkachuk had his day with the Stanley Cup following the wedding to the love of his life, and would promptly take it to prison.

Matthew Tkachuk has had the best week of his life. Tkachuk would get married on the weekend this past Saturday to his love, Ellie Connell, and would get his day with the Stanley Cup soon after.
That Monday, he would receive the Cup and take part in a joke, or hijinks, where he would take pictures of himself with the hardware in prison.

Imprisoned in Prison For winning a Stanley Cup

"I took it here before, but I've never took it in a cell," Tkachuk said jokingly after making the visit and posing for some photos with the Cup and some of the department's officers. "That was a first for me. Hopefully that's my last time in a cell unless it's with the Cup again another time."

Is it a running joke between the rat crew on the team (Brad Marchand, Sam Bennett, and Tkachuk)?
I'm not quite getting the wavelength they're on here while engaging in such a ridiculous set of photos.
The Brentwood Police would deprive Tkachuk of the cup while being placed in jail by the LEOs.
What law did he break?
Needless to say, I guess he's guilty of being able to finish his own tilts and having to rely on other forwards to defend himself.
As a turtle and a rat, he's still a two-time Stanley Cup champion.
Tkachuk makes $9.5 million AAV against the Florida Panthers' cap space, and still has 4 years left in a Panthers uniform, thanks to GM Bill Zito.
In 52 games, he's scored 57 points (22-35) and was a fixture on the Panthers' 2nd-line with Sam Bennett as his center.
Could this be the point at which we see the Panthers finally break, as Tkachuk is arrested on suspicion of being a fraud?
Unfortunately, no, those allegations are untrue.
But the Blackhawks still own him, and Sergei Bobrovsky.
