Former Blackhawk secretly completes condo property sale in Chicago
Former Chicago Blackhawks player Patrick Sharp and his wife, Abby, recently sold their condo in Lincoln Park for $715,000. Sharp, who was part of the Blackhawks' Stanley Cup wins, spent 11 seasons with the team before retiring in 2018.
They bought the condo in 2007 for $645,000 and had been renting it out. The details of the sale are limited because it was done privately. In 2012, they bought a mansion in Lakeview, which they sold in 2021 for $3.14 million.
Their condo in Lincoln Park had a property tax bill of $15,438 in 2022. Another former Blackhawks player,
Patrick Kane, also has ties to Chicago.
Despite playing for the Detroit Red Wings, Kane owns several properties in the city, including condos downtown and in the Near North Side, as well as a mansion in Lake Forest.
