Their lineup will look remarkably younger this season.

The youth movement is alive and well in Chicago, as we get to see exciting prospects like defensemen Artyom Levshunov, Sam Rinzel, and Ethan Del Mastro join the team.
The rebuild is chugging along nicely with this announcement today.
The Chicago Blackhawks Have a Chance to Rebound in 2025-26
While the Blackhawks performed miserably in 2024-25, the team is stocked to the brim with 1st-round picks in the lineup, which could make the team a scrappy, competitive bunch.
Last season in 2024-25, they finished with a record of 25-46-11, and a bottom-dwelling finish. A finish that would lead to lottery pick Anton Frondell being selected 3rd overall.
It wasn't surprising that players like Sam Rinzel or Frank Nazar would've made the lineup, considering the effort we've seen them put in during training camp.
Nazar scored 26 points (12-24) and will be a key piece in the lineup, lining up behind Connor Bedard at 2C.
The Blackhawks finished training camp with a record of 2-4-0, and will need to improve significantly in order to find themselves out of the rebuild phase and into contenders.
