This veteran had stepped away from the National Hockey League due to health reasons, and he has recently revealed that part of his reasoning also had to do with his mental health.

For the first time since 2023, Chicago Blackhawks legend Jonathan Toews has officially scored a goal within the National Hockey League.
This major milestone was made with his hometown Winnipeg Jets against the Calgary Flames at the Scotiabank Saddledome.
He scored by tipping in a shot from the point on a power play, and with this goal, Jonathan Toews now has four points (one goal, three assists) through six games, with a plus-2.
That is not bad for a 37-year-old who hadn't played in the NHL in over two years prior to this season.
