Demidov's Future Uncertain
According to Roman Rotenberg of the Ska St. Petersburg hockey club, that Demidov's arrival in the NHL, won't be right away.
Demidov has a year left with SKA on his contract, which means for the 2024-2025 season he will remain in the KHL.

According to Rotenberg, they intend to continue his development in his home country. This could be a red flag for some NHL GMs considering how the Ivan Fedotov situation played out.
