In a special move, Corey Crawford's No. 29 jersey has been retired by the Moncton Wildcats, making it the first retired jersey in the team's history, just in time for last night's CHL game.

Crawford, a goalie legend, made a big impact with the Chicago Blackhawks, becoming the eighth goalie to win 100 games for the team. His No. 29 jersey will now have a permanent place in the Moncton Wildcats' history.
Back in the 2011-12 season, Crawford did something impressive by being the first Chicago goalie to have two seasons in a row with 30 or more wins since Ed Belfour in 1992-94. His 33 wins in the 2010-11 season were the most by a Blackhawks goalie since Jocelyn Thibault's 33 wins in 2001-02.
The CHL game was an extra special moment as Corey Crawford's No. 29 jersey is retired. It's a way for fans and players to honor and remember his incredible career with the Chicago Blackhawks, making sure his legacy lives on in the Moncton Wildcats' arena.
