The biggest news out of Utah has arrived, and the jerseys and logos have been revealed.

Along with the formerly Arizona Coyotes new name, which will see players like Clayton Keller wearing on the jersey on ice.

The official name is: The Utah Hockey Club.

How exciting.

Utah Hockey Club is official for Year 1.

Smith Entertainment Group closed on the deal that officially makes Utah an NHL franchise. Team name to be revealed at a later date as part of fan vote, and Utah HC is an option.

Here is their jersey and brand identity for 2024-25:

The "Utah HC" name will stick for the first season, but the identity will change once the 2025-2026 season roles around.

The Smith Entertainment Group has announced the name for the 2024-2025 season:

"While the community continues to vote for the official name of the team for the 2024-25 season, the team will be known as Utah Hockey Club - leading proudly with the state identity and accompanied by a more formal naming convention used by many of the League's other member clubs.'

The name drama continues, as the Smith Entertainment Group hasn't decided on a formal name yet, but there are six finalists:

Blizzard, Mammoth, Outlaws, Venom, Yeti and keeping the name Utah Hockey Club, or Utah HC.

At least the jerseys look nice, as you can see below the jerseys are clean, and the colors are nice:

There will be no callback to the NBA's Utah Jazz, as the team will have their own color schemes:
