"The Chicago Blackhawks have decided to move on from Corey Crawford according to various reports. General manager Stan Bowman has made it clear he's only offering Crawford bargain bin type offers, something Crawford isn't interested in. Bowman has decided to go younger and it seems he might be looking to trade for his new goalie. According to Ottawa Senators and NHL insider Bruce Garrioch, the Blackhawks have had some discussions with the Penguins regarding Murray. The Penguins goalie is currently a restricted free agent, however is almost 10 years younger than Crawford so it wouldn't be surprising to see Bowman willing to pay up for the younger goalie. Would you like to see Murray be the Hawks' starter moving forward?
One possible destination for Pittsburgh goalie Matt Murray could be Chicago. Led to believe they've expressed some interest. #NHL — Bruce Garrioch (@SunGarrioch) October 3, 2020
