"It's no secret, the Chicago Blackhawks are once again up against the salary cap hard. They'll have to sign possible Calder Trophy winner Dominik Kubalik along with goalie Corey Crawford. The team has been in "reset" mode with a small rebuild so general manager Stan Bowman is open to everything. Could he be open to trading superstar Patrick Kane?That's exactly what John Vogl of the Athletic proposes as the Sabres try and clean things up with a new general manager. Vogl believes Kane would be willing to come home and waive his no movement close for the Sabres. Going to Chicago?Vogl speculates a return of Sam Reinhart, Casey Mittelstadt and the #8 pick overall at this years draft.
