"Just a couple of months ago, it looked like the Chicago Blackhawks were done for the season and would miss the playoffs once again. Even after firing head coach Joel Quenneville, the Hawks struggled for awhile under new coach Jeremy Colliton. Things have changed recently and the Hawks have worked their way back into the playoff picture. Chicago is just two points out of the final Wild Card spot currently held by the St. Louis Blues. Blackhawks President John McDonough opened up to Mark Lazerus of The Athletic and was asked about the idea of tanking. "We're not going to. I can guarantee you we're not going to."
