The Chicago Blackhawks still have some questions when it comes to their forward group next year. From all accounts it's likely that Alex DeBrincat and Dylan Strome stick together as long as they're producing, but what's not so sure is the idea that Brandon Saad will play on the first line with Jonathan Toews and Patrick Kane. We've heard that pending free agent Joe Pavelski has some interest in Chicago however Pierre McGuire reports that the only team on Pavelski's list right now are Dallas, Tampa and San Jose. They might be showing interest in a younger forward by the name of Anders Lee according to The Fourth Period. While Lee is still talking with the New York Islanders, it seems the Islanders might be letting him walk. The Islanders 28 year old captain is just one season removed from scoring 40 goals and registered 28 last year.Standing 6'3 and weighing in at 231lbs, he could bring an interesting element to a line with Toews and Kane.At 28 though, it would likely require a long term commitment. Would you like to see Lee on the Islanders first line?
