The Blackhawks played their first preseason game of the year Thursday night against a fellow rival, the St Louis Blues.
Well, it was reported today by Scott Powers of The Athletic that Philipp Kurashev did not practice today due to a left wrist injury.
Philipp Kurashev had a goal on Thursday night assisted from Connor Bedard and Kevin Korchinski. He found the puck in front of the net and just tucked it in.
Kurashev is fresh off a new contract that he got from the arbitration process (2 years, $4 million). Philipp is only 24 years old. He had 16 goals and 9 assists last year, tallying up to 25 points in 70 games played.
