Update On Referee Who Had His Wrist Slit By a Skate Blade (Video)
The Hockey U18 World Championship is back, following top prospects around the world facing off against different countries. On Thursday April 28th referee Lukas Kohlmüller had a very scary incident, having his wrist slit by a skate during the USA vs Latvia game.
Lukas immediately received medical attention after being transported to the nearest hospital after the incident on Thursday, and today he underwent his second surgery, thankfully having full movement in his hand and finger as well as there is no expected nerve or permanent damage to be done.
